SV Dad
Savannah Super Cat
hmmm.... interesting question. pro's and cons. Rascal was quite rascally at one year. Bringing Mayhem on board clipped his wings and he didn't have as much time to get into mischief. His brother was on his case most of the time. But the younger they are they seem to accept a new addition.I'm sure having another SV youngster helps scrape off a lot of energy. Our other cats just can't keep up with Chongo and are over his zeal and enthusiasm in less than 5 minutes. The plan has always been to wait a year before getting a second although I sometimes question if it was the right decision. There are certainly pros and cons to having a pair at a similar age, while it certainly helps having a rough and tumble buddy.
The downside was Rascal's charm was diminished for two years. But he is now BAAAAAACCCCKKK!!!!
Of course, as you yourself know well, the house is trashed. The math is simple. 1+1=3 or more worth of mayhem (not the cat in this case, well err, maybe
