Constant meowing

I think that is so cool that you and Jengo have conversations. My girls look at me like.." What? You want ME to talk???"

Here's an early example when we first got him. He's way more vocal and responsive now. I love a chatty cat and I found SV's tend to communicate their feelings very well - even if they are just crying for attention - they let you know. My favorite breed!

Hi all .

I've recently been lucky enough to add a 12 week old F6 Savannah to my household. However, she has been meowing constantly (all day and most of the night!).

She's eating, drinking and using the litter tray. Generally speaking the meowing intensifies to a loud cry if I leave the room for more than 20 seconds.

Is this normal behaviour for a new SV kitten? Or something I should be concerned about?

She'll let me pet her which often stops the meowing temporarily but will not put up with being held.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
rtb, how is your kitty doing now? Is she still as chatty or has she settled in somewhat? Would love to see some new pics of her (hint, hint)
