Diabetes Mellitus

Just a bit more of an update Bella is really feeling alone. She is rubbing all
the time and doing a lot of talking. She was never really that vocal but right
not she is. We are going in on Wednesday to the vet for two things Bella
was to get one of her vaccines and I am picking up Mokkun's ashes. My regular
vet Dr Dill retired just the week before Mokkun passed away and I would of
preferred to have him take of things just because. The new vet took good care
of us that day. This will be her first time meeting Bella. I think I am going to
go through all the photos I have of Mokkun and Tetsu and do something nice
with them. I mean what good is PhotoShop if you don't use it for special times.
Yes I am rambling and we all deal with loss in out own ways. I'll share what I come
up with for my memory project of the boys.

It sucks to have this happen and even more so at Christmas.

Sean you are welcome to post whatever you want here... It is a terrible loss and words can't adequately express how badly we all feel for you! Look forward to see what you come up with.

Bella is lonely I'm sure... Extra love and attention will help...

I know that the mind can play tricks on a person.
I as sitting down watching TV Bella was over by the fire place
and out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw a whitish cat
walking in and when I looked full on it was not there. Bella
keeps looking under where any covers hang off the bed and the
way she looks under like she is expecting a cat to gump out.
I just let her know all is ok.

Poor Bella, it must be quite an adjustment for her to suddenly be an only kitty. I know you are giving her lots of extra time and attention, you will be integral to helping her work through all these recent changes in her world.

She is getting a lot more rum and scratch time that is for sure.


I had to leave the house empty for 2 hours today and was not sure how that would go.
Seems to been OK but when I got back there was some run my face time.
I have aways left some form of music or a talk show on when I have left the house empty
of humans. Today she got to listen to some sports show. Was well when I got home.

I think i am more miserable than when Tetsu sassed away.
Bella is doing more sleeping in my room.

I'm so sorry, Sean! I know how difficult it can be... It gets better with time... You never forget, but the pain eases.

Went to the vet today to pick up the ashes.
I also took Bella in for her shots and they screwed up.
They used the normal run of the mill cat vaccine. She
was up on rabies so only needed the one.
FRCP was what they gave her and it was not a killed one.
Not really happy about that.

So sorry to hear about your loss and the VET giving the wrong vaccines. I had this happen to me last year. They also screwed up blood work by ordering the wrong test and I had to get double blood drawn a few weeks later. Hope things get better for you.

Ugh, I'm so sorry. I know it seems that everything is going wrong right now but hang in there - it will get better.
