Trish calls the cats and kittens what she wants to and she certainly doesn't let me call them whatever I would like. I have come up with awesome names like Skeezer, Nifty and Duster. Vetoed, the lot of them and she just goes about calling the boys names that make it sound like they have sugar in the tank.

.... since he has a proclivity for unusual names that are the laughingstock of the feline world.
Now..... I have to chime in and debate this accusation.
I vehemently refute this portrayal. There is nothing wrong with JP's choice of names. As I am a proponent of letting the cats name themselves, JP has shown good judgement and choices. I am sure he has recognized input from Trish and taken it into consideration.
We should and usually do show some respect for the names of our kitties.....
I don't seem to find posting trashing your Bratticus.......

(though I will give you credit for Joecockerandreabotticelli (nickname cockerbott)!!

Didja read JPs response oh rascally one? By his own admittance, Trish's input is not only taken into consideration, it is the only input that counts. I am still relieved that he lost the vote on Nifty.

At least his names are earthly. Unlike ones I would come up with, like Aldeberon, Castor, Pollux, Rigel, Alcyone, Antares, and Altair. ( By the way, Antares was in the running for Regulus when I was thinking of a name for him.)

Sorry, I still think Nifty is one of the greatest names that could ever be afforded a pet.
And I love you so I think whatever you name your fur babes will be the best name. Although I can't guarantee that I won't be cringing on the inside.

I dunno Cary, it's somehow fitting, don't ya think, to name SVs after gaseous heavenly bodies.
