Depends... my husband used to take the Savannahs into work quite regularly, he has his own office but of course on those days he'd have a LOT of visitors dropping by. He's been too busy lately but talks about needing to take Baz in again soon...he gets lots of requests :)

Definitely I think the cat has to be a little used to going on leash outside the home to places. Because a lot of our cats have been to cat shows they are pretty bombproof that way, the different environment and lots of people wishing to pet them doesn't faze them. If you've taken them to Petsmart or something like that then they should do fine. My husband packs a small litterbox and dishes etc so that kitty has those during the day too. Just don't expect to get much work done with all the interruptions! At least the first few times you take your cat to work!

George's brother
Both boys go to school most days. They que up to the door when kids are in the final rush to go out, they know the signs. It's been great pretty much but we had our first fatality this week when George decided to fish out one of our partial tadpole/frogs and play with it while we were at recess. Not enough lungs to survive unfortunately. They also both love spending time with me at the barn, chickens and horses and hay so fun.

When's she's bigger and we move our office closer to my home, I can totally see bringing her in and letting her become our new paper shredder.
