I'm glad that Trish is better, and I certainly understand your anxiety about leaving town again. Hugs to you both.

I am very sorry that John lost his Savannah cats and his home and almost his wife ,I am glad she is breathing better, I am kind of new here at cat chat but I am proud of the response chat put up with the support and I feel that I am at home here. in post 27 it sounds as Mrs. Popp tried a rescue of her cats through the smoke without air. THIS WOMAN HAS SALT, IT would be terrible to see your house burn with your furry friend inside and I hope this never happins to anyone of you. I would agree with Mrs . Popp you must try and she did. and so would I.

Carl, thank you - this is a very thoughtful, heartwarming post! We are glad you are part of our "family" here at savannahcatchat.com!

While we still aren't sure we believe it was a wax warmer that used a small tea light candle.

Something like this.
