Dooley still challenged

Yep, for Trish and I its a half dozen times a day where our hearts race thinking he's about to have an episode. He's still a clutz, oft determined and will look right through you when something he wants is on the other side. He starts trembling a bit before he busts loose one of his record setting poohs and certainly gets a bit angry beforehand.

Anyway a hundred things you worry about, but in actuality nothing that didn't go on before.

Continuing to send prayers... I know first hand waiting is many times the hardest thing to do.... All the best to Dooley

Sending positive vibes to you all. I know how hard it can be to stay calm. I'm sure the time will fly by and surgery day will be here soon and Dooley will be back to his old self before you know it. I'm counting on it

Dooley is definitely a little distorted because of the distance, but you can see he is looking dapper and regal.

The head butts from Atticus are appreciated, although he'd much rather have some goat or rabbit as the prescription diet is making him antsy.

Continuing to do well with the meds and his grooming is pretty much up to normal standards.

Dooley continues to do well. It's pretty obvious when he's not feeling well, as Dino adjusts his level of play.

Everything is pretty much hinged around the quantity of food he eats and what's in his bowels. Chances are if he looks like he's not feeling well, a gigantic dump isn't that far away. Stinky as all get out, and I can't wait until we can get him onto a raw diet again.

I've probably mentioned most of this before, but his meals are now spread out exactly 6 hours apart. Again everything is dialed in so we can get as much food in him as possible, while at the same time making sure at each meal he's hungry enough to take the meds that are mixed in with his food. It doesn't sound like all that much, but it's a real chore and a balancing act with our work schedules.

Anyway, just hoping we can keep Dooley on the right path and he has a successful surgery. Thanks again to everyone keeping our little big boy in their thoughts and prayers.
