Dooley still challenged

That's why I put the qualifier in there on the different wheel.

Dooley is way too big for his current wheel and can't really stretch it out.

Here's a video of him airing it out. Notice that he's airborne twice per stride when he's really moving and the bunny hops on the rear legs is something he adapted tto for wheel use.

Yeah the wheel is way too small... The only one I have seen large enough is the go pet which is 60"

Very nice... Sure is getting the good out of that wheel... Better put some grease on those bearings... A lot of motion there.

I just looked at their site, plunked in Atticus's measurements and they recommended the medium-large breed wheel for $1320. Aiyeeee!! Don't want to pay that much even if he would use it.

Yah they are expensive! I saw them in person and they are so well made! Danny actually has one!

Is there plexi on the spoked side of those? If not it wouldn't work for my guy as he reaches around the outside of the wheel.

Dooley has been doing well with his re-introduction to a raw diet. We aren't very far along yet (just 20%) as I want to go really slow and make sure we don't have any setbacks. He's already doing less foraging, not making us put much effort into getting him fed and nearly immediately he stepped up his hygeine to pre-illness standards.

Anyway, pretty stoked and I'm very hopeful we keep on the same path.

One other note, given the make up of our cats, especially f1s, I would be extra cautious about the amount of protein they consume. Not that any of it should be replace by carbs, but lean meats aren't a good route to travel. Best to have near half the calories they intake come from fat.
