I have one and I liked it, but it was just too small...we should have a classifieds on here, where people can trade/give/sell new or used cat items...I could have sold this fountain for a great price!

It is electrical - the cord is in the back. You can also adjust the amount of flow. The pump is in the center and has a ceramic cover for it. I don't find it difficult to clean and is plenty big for our one 'bitty boy' as I call him

I got this one too. I've owned quite a few fountains over the years and so far this wins my pick as easiest to clean, I just rinse it out and spray it with vinegar, rinse again and let it air dry. Definitely easier to clean than any of the plastic fountains, and easier than the stainless steel ones which I didn't like but don't remember what all my complaints were (probably the noise, water spots, and while it came apart easy enough, it was still harder to clean than the ceramic fountain).
I purposely got one of the smaller ones from this site and it's definitely big enough for three cats. Afterward I found another site that had a similar product for less money, but I can't find the link.

Totally agree all our kitties are different in their behaviors. How many have a cat that likes to chew on the trim? Our Bailey chews on the trim of our wainscoting. We had to move anything that was close to the walls that she could sit on and chew away.
The only one I had that did that was limited to when she was bored and frustrated being confined to a room when she wanted OUT! Thankfully that was the only one over the years...
