Durable toys for very hard chewers

My "kids" are really rough on toys, too. I tend to buy dog toys instead of cat toys...Kong is a good sturdy brand, as well as some human baby toys. I once bought two real fox tails at a cat show, and those lasted two years until they fell apart. The "skinny" roadkill toys last quite a while, as do wine corks :) Other faves here are real tennis and pingpong balls and paper bags with the handles cut off. I have one girl who loves chewing on cardboard and can destroy the heaviest duty box in an hour...but I did get a large cardboard house for them for Christmas..the kind made for kids to put up and decorate (got it at Walgreens)...I think I am going to put duct tape (leopard print of course) around the edges of the doors and windows to see if that will make it last longer than one day...I will let everyone know how that worked out for us.

We tried the Kong toys, and he doesn't appear to like anything made of durable rubber. Guess it's no fun if it doesn't shred right away! :) I've got balls in all sizes, including mini tennis balls that squeak. He strolls past them. He does like Ping-Pong balls, but punctures them rather quickly.

We are having the same issue with our Luxor. He is absolutely obsessed with ripping up anything paper or cardboard including books and his nice cardboard scratcher we got him well over a year ago. I want to get him a chew toy if there is one out there that's safe.

We have the feather toys which he loves, some balls that make noise he likes to bang around and some plush mouse toys we doing at the Dollar Tree actually after trying about 30 others from PetCo and PetSmart.

He grabs our mail and tries to drag it on the floor to rip it apart. We have come home to paper everywhere because he loves it so much. He hasn't been acting abnormal so I don't think his teeth are bothering him.

Thoughts?

I found that making a ball the size of a ping pong ball out of parchment paper. Cut the square when crumpling it compact it in your hand as tight as u can. The cutting it from a square makes a nicer round ball and will sat longer. Tried with many many ther paper types but this one wins paws down.
Not sure about the ripping up part, haven't had that issue. Maybe making some beef jerky so u know it has all good stuff. And use that as a medium for chewing aggression.
