Yes, feline stool gazing is a 100 level prerequisite for when we are convalescing in a retirement home sometime in the future. It's opening the door to feel more comfortable with our own deficating and what later in life is a healthy fascination with our stools. Not only do we learn to speak openly about our own stools but participate in conversations with others about their waste product, regularity and frequency.

So rejoice one and all, and embrace the poop!
Personally, I shall discuss the poop but I will not embrace it!

I would take her to the vet... It does not necessarily mean she is out of the woods...

Well... There may be more where that came from, she may have some irritation requiring medication... I just would not take a chance...

That she was crying in her litter box is the clue that she's still trying to pass something through the exit. Never knew a cat that would frequent the litter box to yak. More likely to be on an area rug , carpet, bed, table, chair, sofa or other area to maximize the clean up effort. Then of course if you try to move them while yakking they will hit three of the most convenient targets listed above and be completed before you can set them down.

Poor baby! Hopefully it is all over, but as the others have said, better to be safe than sorry! Have her checked out and make sure there is nothing else brewing in her belly...
