She is great... I was watching her on camera and saw her sleeping in her bed... I sneaked in as quiet as a mouse and laid down to get some sleep beside her.... You never guess what happened next....

The little sleeper decided it was play time.... Does not matter.... She is doing perfect. I bought her because I fell in love with her from first site... I asked the breeder why she was priced much cheaper than the rest and was told it was that she was not a preferred color for the Savannah's... My answer to her was that she was the best looking one on the lot and she is my gain and someone elses loss...

LOL, in away that is kind of funny... I actually got her discounted because of her color... But I will say that cost had nothing to do with the purchase because I fell in love with her at first site and would have paid double... Guess everyone has their opinions of good color, and I do LOVE Elsa's.

She is just gorgeous.

It is already apparent that she is going to be a very happy kitty with you!

Many breeders want their kittens placed in good homes and I sent our breeder some pic's and up dates on our first kitten and they knew the kitten was safe in a good home and when we got Cody they took $1000 off his cost, my wife says they discounted him because he's so ornery , this kitten door dashed into the refrigerator , chased a frog in a pond and dove in after it, climbed in the shower with me and so on and on. once a Savannah cat owner always a Savannah cat fan.

LOL, I hear ya.. Any way you look at it... We both got the right kittens it sounds like.. I think I may have a Door Dasher in the making... Elsa was hiding in her room as I was exiting.. Just as I walked through she blasted thru.. Only one thing did not fit her plan... She did not realize Jake was sitting there and she froze... She is still in quarantine, but they did not touch each other.. I snapped her back... I am trying to stay within the contract but neither one of these 2 wants to cooperate.. (Jake or Elsa)... I am not sure what to do about the door dashing at this young age.... I have heard everyone talking about it around here in adults, but never in kittens (or I just missed it)...

Sleeping beside her, this will be a very spoiled kitten fast, keep her warm John , I have seen my wife warming up Fancy Feast for our Savannah's .

This is a trick I used when I worked as a wildlife rehabilitator. Hold a long towel or blanket that covers your legs when you enter and exit the room. This presents what looks like a solid barrier to the animal and they usually will not try to run through it. Mind you, this worked on birds, cougar, and bobcat, but may not be effective on the superior intelligence and tenacity of a SV.:big grin:
