LOL, my girl Jasi (Regie's mom) once opened a drawer in front of the bathroom door, essentially locking herself in. I could just open the door about a quarter of an inch before it hit the drawer, and had no idea how to get her out. I finally grabbed a saw determining that I could just slide it through the narrow opening enough to get to the drawer, and concluding that I would have to saw off the drawer to get her out, but when I put the blade to the wood I realized I could (just barely) maneuver the drawer back into its slot by working the blade back and forth... it took quite some doing before I was able to recess the drawer enough to open the door again. That drawer (as well as the rest of the drawers and cabinet doors) now have baby locks to prevent this from ever happening again!

LOL , I thought that I had a unique situation... It would see that our Fur Kids have an act of getting themselves locked up...

Only unique to Savannahs!! Our crew has gotten locked in several bathrooms and bedrooms. We now have door chocks (like firefighters use) to make sure they can't close doors. We just have to remember to take them out of the door before we need privacy!!

John, I'm glad Elsa is getting used to her new home and putting weight back on... Add long as she is healthy though, don't wish for too much of a weight gain...

I am not looking for a lot... She got up to 10 lbs 5 ounces before she started losing and she is at 9 lbs 5 ounces now... I would like to see her get back to where she was which is 1 lb to go... At that weight, she certainly was not looking over weight....

somehow they pushed the door closed and latched, locking them selves inside... I have since made arrangements to where they cannot close this door... If it happened once, it can happen again...

Uh oh, they're copying Yuki and Yeti.:confused::p

We are away, and there was going to be a 12 hour gap between us leaving and our cat sitter arriving. I'm not ashamed to admit that I propped every interior door in the house open to be sure our boys didn't lock themselves up accidentally :)

Tort, sometimes I wonder if Yuki and yeti are related to Mickey- he is the best in our house at getting himself into situations he doesn't know how to get out of!
