i'm sol! this morning nakaia was running around and got slightly tangled in my computer cords... she ran off and i was not happy as at the time i was playing with trance. i thought all was well even tho my computer had flown onto the carpet... i was wrong... my external mouse works, there isn't an issue with the programs, it still charges, there are no cracks in the screen but my keyboard on the laptop does NOT work!!! it took some time but i was finally able to search for a virtual keyboard thanks to mozilla firefox having a thing called keyboard short cuts. i just copied and pasted that into google. at first i kept getting keyboards u could play music on but finally found what im on now -http://gate2home.com/English-Keyboard - its a pain using a mouse to click ach button but i called mac pros and they couldn't guarantee me a same day fix until tmr as long as i get there before 10am - they open at 9... ill likely be switching to my samsung tonight to get anything done but this laptop has all of my bookmarks so its aggravating!

Actually, sometimes Savannahs DO knock things over on purpose, just to see what happens... glasses and cups, particularly those that are filled with liquid seem to be a favorite around here...

Ugh! I wish I had the picture of the shattered brand new computer my F1s gifted me with to make you feel a little better! Only good thing for us was that we bought a very good warranty for it and Dell replaced it asap.

So tonight was the first time I yelled at them "bad, bad, bad" and clapped my hands a few times. I don't know if they got the message or not, and it is NOT my usual way of trying to get a message across. Earlier tonight they had up ended their food/water dish over their bedding. I had JUST got done getting it out of the dryer, got the food dish and bedding back in with them for the night, played with them a little, and then I went to the rest room. As I was going to the rest room I heard them moving it but obviously couldn't intervene as I was stuck at the moment. Afterwards I found they up-ended their food and water dish right next to the bedding this time, so it might get a little wet or whatever but they can still lay on it. But this means they can't have their food/water in with them all the time anymore either. I need to get a different-heavier bowl to put in with them so they stop this non-sense. I like to have it readily available to them all the time because of how much they play.

It took Neka months to start playing water sports with her water dish.

To this day Sabriel really doesn't move her much, only tipped it maybe 3 times total in about 2 years.

The kittens are here for like 2 and a half weeks and already doing this lol.

Trance just had a heck of a coughing spell. Seriously her face looked like she was choking but because I had taken the food out of there and also by the fact that I just woke her and Nakaia up I know she had nothing in her mouth. She was only coughing for like 30 seconds... I did see her cough once before in the quarantine period but it was literally like 2 second cough and she was eating so I thought/think it was that...

Hopefully whatever this cough was is like a fur ball... maybe it is because of the Worlds Best clumping litter... either way I'll be watching her and if it happens again she's going to the vet!

Last time I saw something like that Sabriel had a hair ball, but before that last time I saw something like that was Neka sick... Although she was doing the coughing thing long before she had the lymphoma...

Blah, PLEASE let this be a one time thing...

Buy a large disposable aluminum roasting pan or lasagna pan at the grocery store and put their dishes in it. I had to do that with the water dishes because my F1 kitten likes play in the dishes and floods the floor. The roaster will catch most of the water/food.
