Brandy, soak in Hot Epsom salts for about 20 min, then wash off and try to express the pus. Then Hydrogyn peroxide. And Neosporen and a band aid.
Thanks, I'm going to try that now... don't really want to go to the doctor over a tiny thing unless necessary.

It has always worked for me Brandy. The soak will soften the skin in the area and allow the infection to be removed and the "HYPO" will kill any germs left and the neosporen will help heal.
Yes, stay away from the doctor if you can help it.

I agree with Cary only I have problems using neosporen for more than a day or two. My doctor recommends using polysporin - apparently it has 1 ingredient less than neo and doesn't cause the same issue.

@admin it won't make them sick though will it? I mean I got it so that it doesn't show white anymore and it was with the whole bag of cat litter so 8lbs of litter vs 1 box of baking soda... and baking soda is a natural cleaner.. they are using the box... I did notice when Trance was cleaning her paws though that she was licking her tongue a lot like she absolutely hated the taste... which is fine by me considering I don't want her eating the litter anymore!
What ..... WHAT.... what....... You were having issues with your kitty eating litter? Where do I find these posts to read? I thought I was the Lone Ranger here. After literally MONTHS ON END AND ALL THE TRIALS I finally found a result where she will take a taste but not eating large amounts like when I was using clay...dr. .?? Litter.

I suppose as long as there is "sporin" it will be ok. LOL ;)
When my mom was recently moving she substained an injury to her leg. Doc referred her to wound care dept. due to severity and her age. Wound care advised us to throw out all neosporon. Advised us to buy and only use bacitraycin.

This is why I start my kittens out now using yesterday's news...you may want to add sine baking soda to the litter...she will not eat it...she will taste it and never taste it again :)
Oh my kitty was eating it regularly .....had to stop using it!

Neosporin contains neomycin. Of the topical antibiotics, neomycin causes the most allergic skin reactions. You could use Polysporin (bacitracin/polymixin) or plain bacitracin ointment.
