I don't think so... we probably just both liked Spencer for a name! Calyx Spencer is from Teresa at Wildstreak.

Mine is from Royal Hybrids. I like the name Spencer, but the main reason for his name is, it is the middle name of Charlie Chaplin, that is the names of my other 2 Savannahs. The story goes, if Charlie Chaplin's middle name has 7 letters, that will determine if I get a third Savannah. So, after a little research, his middle name Spencer, had 7 letters, so I got my third Savannah, my little F1 Spencer. Well not so little anymore, but still the baby of the family. Lol

That's a great story!

All our cats have unique first names, eg. Calyx is a part of a kidney (my husband is a urologist) and we always give them a middle name that is more of a cheeky human name. We started an "S" theme with Calyx Spencer for middle names and our later guys are Raleigh Stewart, and Summit Seymour.

I think your Spencer looks absolutely luxuriously gorgeous and I miss my F1 at that age.

Thank you! Those are cool names and unique. I am glad I am not the only one that thinks that way, I did the same thing, except I used ancient Egyptian names for their middle names. Not sure if anyone experience some signs like I did when it was time to name my first two boys. The first sign was when, I first started to think of names, Charlie Chaplin's name appeared on tv out of no where. The second sign was on Christmas Day. I was watching Rocky on tv and in the commercials they had a small write up on Sylvester Stallone and how smart he was. So, wanting to learn more about him. I googled Sylvester and started reading up on him and came to a paragraph that said that Sylvester can be compared to Chaplin Chaplin who died on Christmas Day. Now, remember I am reading this on Christmas Day. And even weirder, today I was watching a documentary on Gloria Vanderbilt and in the middle it, Anderson Cooper, while interviewing his Mom, mentioned how Charlie Chaplin had been over for supper many of times. Now, I know there has been other occasions like that and now I wish I would have written them all down. That is just so coincidental, just crazy. It is almost like he is here with us. I know it sounds crazy, but I don't mine, it seems he has moved in and is having a blast. Let not forget that there are 7 letters in each ones of his names and I have 7 letters in my names also. Lol

Now, their middle Egyptian names is another story and is too long to tell, but it would be interesting to find out what their names can be compared too, from all my dreams as a little girl. Lol

Charlie (Takelot)
Chaplin (Thutmos)
Spencer (Ramseys)

He was also born in the same month I was, just a few days apart. So weird and you will all think I am nuts, but I can't help the fact that at least once a month there is a sign like that. Pretty weird that in this day and age I have heard more of Charlie Chaplin then I have ever heard in my whole life, and I have been around a while. Have you heard of Charlie Chaplin lately? Maybe you have a similar story or have seen some signs like I have!
