Is Atticus an F1 or F2. He sure looks like a wild *kitten. But sweet as sugar too.
He's an F1. I never ever ever thought I'd be posting pics of MY F1. Always wanted one, but just didn't think I'd ever do it. So he is a really special addition to the family and I am looking forward to having many adventures with him.

He ALMOST looks like a baby Cheeta. But a LOT like a baby Serval I am jealous. I'd love an F1 BUT.... Probably not in this life. I'm VERY happy for you. :)

Atticus is beautiful.
You don't trim claws on your cats, correct?
How do you manage playing with them without an occasional accidental laceration? Sometimes the claws get stuck on the interconnecting pad flesh, causing the pads (toes) to get stuck in a crossed position.
It is near impossible to trim my F1's claws without getting mauled and bloodied in the process.
His vet as well as local groomers are unsuccessful.

I trim one my F2s and my F6 claws every other week. Their breeders did their claws 1x week so they were used to it. I can manage to trim 1-2 of Maliik's claws at a time before he runs out of patience but usually have it done when he goes to the vet for an exam once or twice a year. Atticus's breeder also trims 1x per week and if I keep that up as I intend, hopefully he'll continue to allow it as he grows.

I get nicked every once in a while if my hand gets too close to them when we're playing with a toy. Otherwise all of them keep their claws sheathed when playing with me.

Atticus is seriously too cute. How are you ever going to discipline that little cutiepie? I would simply melt.

Haven't read this entire thread but wanted to comment on the cuteness of Atticus. Also on claw clipping.... not sure how it worked, but Mango purrs through it for me and we go once a week. But my husband gets swiped and bit if he tries. Weird huh?
