Loki got a haircut at the vet, and not a good one at that, IMO.
Getting better, still not sure what happened but he had two rounds of vomiting and was extremely lethargic. Not much diarrhea but some fever present. All tests negative and getting back to himself, but haven't introduced raw diet again yet. Contemplating tossing this batch but we were 20 lbs into a 30 lb batch with no issues. Creatinine was slightly above normal and urine was moderately dilute. Urine culture was negative, nothing remarkable on ultrasound or EKG.

Glad he is better. He was not feeling well at all. You can see it in his face. Poor baby.
I had a similar episode when one of my boys was a kitten about 4 months old. I really think he just ate way too much (like almost a pound in one sitting), but of course the vet blamed it on the raw with bones because when they took the X-ray there was bone chips in his belly. They kept him overnight and took another X-ray and of course the bone had moved through his system. They termed it gastroenteritis and sent him home with some antibiotics I think. Never happened again, and he never over-ate after that. Hope your boy continues to feel better!!
