Walking the shelves at Home Depot I came across anchor rope on clearance. We have a column in our house that I have always wanted to wrap with rope. Finally did it, and I think it came out well, 300' of 7/16" to get 6' up the column. I have a feeling he will climb as high as I wrap!

That looks fun.
My kids could compete with the cats
Romeo and Toby want a pole to clime one too now
Lots of wrapping to get the effect .
You have to wrap to the top higher and higher ......

Lol

Julius
image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I love the pole wrap !! I didn't have one so I made Julius a rope swing to climb... He loves it and I had to modify it with a spring so he doesn't rip it out of the ceiling ! He runs full speed and catches it mid-air and then climbs it like a monkey!

What a great idea! Maliik uses the pillars in the dining room as scratching posts and I was going to have them replaced with custom-made metal ones. Instead, I'm going to wrap them in rope. P1010745.jpg

This is so great! Mine have been swinging from a blanket over a chair that tends to end in a big crash, they need this! Why didn't I think of this before?!? Screeching at Tycen now that he must go to Lowes stat for the kitties! Am going to run downstairs now to his shop to ensure he is understanding the emergency nature of this!

@Cathouse1 -- That's kind of creepy. I hope you're not getting any flack from the breeder about getting either a partial refund or the other half of the cat.

What an awesome idea! I hung a rope in the outdoor enclosure, but never considered putting one indoors!
