The lower on the food chain the fish the better, same goes for humans consumption of fish. Larger fish the greater the risk of heavy metals and pcbs.

Thanks Diane, that's good to know. We are planning on keeping him on Life's Abundance for now since that is what Kim had him on and maybe some raw chicken, Kim said he liked that a lot.
How old is your F3? he is a good looking cat too, and how big is he size wise.
Hi Darien, My F3 Newton is 22-23lbs and he is tall and lanky....He is pictured in the F3 forum also with my 3 other cats..a Himalayan and 2 DSH's. He will be 10 yrs. old this September and hoping to get another savannah soon. I need to take a better avatar photo of him also...I don't have any good close up ones of him.....Newton doesn't like raw meat and I don't blame him, I don't either!;):big grin:

Hello everyone, Darien's wife Robyn here. Update on Adonis. Since being home and getting to know him he has been named Keegan meaning Fiery One. He is doing very well at adjusting to his new home. He and I are getting along great! I drove from Pa to Fl and picked him up Saturday morning getting him home on Sunday late afternoon. He did wonderful on the 2 day drive and over night stay at a hotel. He has come out of his shell quickly in the 4 days he he has been here. Took him no time to start playing and loving on me. Allowed me to pet him in a day and pick him up at 2 days home. He had is vet check today. He is happy and healthy. At 18 weeks weighing in at 8.5 pounds!

Welcome and thanks for the update Robin. It's always good to hear about cats adjusting quickly to their new homes. I'm loving his new name.

Thanks, I hope he does as well when he comes out of his quarantine period. I think he is doing exceptionally well especially after his long trip home. We shall see how it goes introducing him to the dog in a week and a half. He has never been around dogs and our dog has never been around cats.
