Congratulations! I too think you made the right decision. We are dealing with a 12 week old F5 male. He has face pounced me as well. But he is a sweetheart and it was just playfulness. Good luck to you and I hope you find a great deal of enjoyment along with the headaches.

My hubby was not happy at all about my wanting Rafiki. He considered her a "wild animal" and couldn't figure out why I couldn't just get a "normal" cat. The first 2 weeks were chaos! Especially around 11 pm when she would jump all over the bed biting every body part she encountered - and I do mean that she would sink her teeth in! I am glad to say that we were able to stop that behavior and now my hubby absolutely adores her. He thinks that she is the sweetest thing on earth and the aggressive behavior is a thing of the past.
