They are great. In your experience, are the ears one of the most difficult serval traits to accomplish in the Savannahs? Maybe it is too soon to tell, but my F3 does not look like she is going to have real large ears sitting on top of her head like some do.
I think each breeding program is a bit different. Some breeders are able to produce great ears consistently, while with others it may be hit and miss. It is the same with other features as well. The breed is still relatively young and while we are producing more and more generations of SV x SV breeding we can still see the influence of the outcrosses that have been used in the past in some of our cats. I do think the ears are one of the more difficult features to attain, but then so are the nicely hooded eyes, and the shallow chin that makes that nice triagular side profile.
