She is a silly girl!!! am always amazed at how Taj jumps up on top of the bathroom door...I mean he has an tire catwalk and he jumps on top of the door?

Is this a "normal" savannah thing? Jumping on top of doors? It seem kind of high...lol She is only 6 months old...I was pretty surprised she jumped up that high; although I find her on top of the fridge about fifty times a day, but never on top of a door!! Or maybe it's just "normal" for them to explore EVERY single aspect of the house? My bengal that I used to have (Kitty RIP) used to do some crazy things too, but I never recall her jumping on a door! lol

They like to be up high, Michelle! And they have those hugh back feet to help them. The catwalk in my house is about 8 feet off the ground, around my entire place and you can look up and always find one or all three of my cats.

That's awesome, Paige! I have to admit though....I was a little scared when I saw her up there. That's why I tried to get her down...but she held on to the top of the door for dear life; until i was able to get her claws off! lol I was just scared that she was going to hurt herself jumping down, but I'm sure she would have gotten down on her own. It's just funny...she keeps me on my toes, that's for sure. My mellow, fat Siamese can barely jump over our baby gate; so I know I won't find him in any crazy high places! lol Reading all these posts about clumsy Savannahs too...is so funny because Shyla seriously runs into walls, couches, and anything in her way when she's playing...I'm always worried she's gonna knock herself silly one of these days! ;)

Michelle, she will get down herself, no worries. I did the same thing the first time I saw Taj up there and then I realized he would get himself down and he does.

When I open a dresser drawer, Taj hops in the drawer and tries to get behind, like he did when he was a baby...but, uh, he is now a big boy and definitely cannot squeeze behind the drawer...and as soon as I open the dryer door to put clothes in or take out, he jumps up and plants himself in the dryer. it is a stackable, so is about 5-6 feet high...he is just a silly boy ;)
