F5 Savannahs - SBT and others

We are getting two. We are hoping that we will be able to nurture them into loving being in the car and visits with friends and families. I would like to take them camping, I'm just worried about the heat in the day and then the night temper changes slightly. We are in a semi dessert part of B.C. and we are hoping they will be okay in the woods (with us of course, at all times). Just glad to see other SV owners are taking their cats camping and such!

Thanks!

I think with the later the generation the more open minded they can be. I'm sure they'll do great just make sure you have plenty I cool em off. Water from a creek. Or just slightly wet fur is awesome. I do tht to the bunnies too in the summer. I rub an ice cube on their fur and they tooth purr like crazy. And sit in front of a fan or window. Or just chill on the porch. Love it

Good to know! I will probably bring some time of tub for them to play with water in - hoping that they like to play in water! Ours are F5 SBT so I'm hoping they will be pretty open-minded and adventurous!

Hey mom look at me...now how do I get down... Lol he keeps finding more ways to cause trouble. He just discovered my "bird house/outhouse" makes a great scratching post (oh dear)

Nice looking boy you have there.... Just in case you did not realize a simple savannah fact... they are supposed to find more ways to get into trouble.

It is good that he discovered your bird house.... But you may want to divert him away from the ---

"OutHouse" ... LOL, I have not seen one of those in at least 20 plus years...

Don't let those handsome looks deceive ;) and thank you. I lucked out I was so happy to find he had a lot of common interests. I guess those sparks that flew when I first saw him really meant something. Now if he would only experiment more with water we could reallllyyyy have more fun. He hasn't quite gotten passed the only being cool with dropping sinks and very shallow puddles in the shower phase
