Thank you Patti. I am not supposed to keep one kitten, but now, I am not sure ha ha !!! I have another stud I can use with her, but, I need more space.... I will see when she matures a bit. I don't have a show cat, maybe I can find her a pet home with possibility to show her.
Hard decision to come ha ha !!!

This always seems to be the dilemma of the breeder! I had one little girl who was the runt of the litter, severely miniature from day one, so I never knew if she was going to make it or how well she would thrive so felt I needed to keep her. Well six months later of course she is small but thriving so when the right person contacted me I finally decided to let her go. Wouldn't you know it, I got her spayed and five days later her incision busted open so now everything is delayed. Naughty kitty...

I understand, I am often attracted to the smallest ones sometimes, or the bottle fed one, and it's really the best to make sure the kitten is strong enough before he leaves to his new family. For some kittens, it takes more time, and gives us more time to decide to keep it or not.... or to find a good family match.

I know what you mean...I am dreading Zuri's next litter because I cannot keep any of the kittens

Oh no! poor girl hope she gets well soon and is off to her new family!
