Congrats! Great looking kitty.
Ahhh..... let us know if the quiet kitty continues. A lot of us have very talkative kitties, especially after they get comfortable at home!

I'm having mix feelings... I've heard a terrible news from my breeder. The Bengals cats I've been close to choice over my Savannah are now dead. One cat got the Panleuco at the vet and he contamine her otter kittens. When I got my Savannah he was at the vet.....If I had decide to pick up my kitten the following days he would probably have been dead since my breeder was only able to save one. I am feeling so happy about that.

It's so sad for my breeder losing three kittens it's clear she was devastated. She will not be able to have cat in her house for months. One minutes they were playing hard and the next they were really sick. I never heard before something like that. The god news the three pregnants F1 were elsewhere :)

For every breeder out there I got a climpse of your daily life. Being a breeder can bring so much joy but also lead to unfortunate events part of the deal once in while. I want to say thank you to all of you for being so passionate about breeding.

When I visited my kitten at the breeder when she was 8 weeks old, Sandy was setting up her bed in the living room. They had 2 kittens that were just not thriving and they were having to tube the kittens every few hours to nourish them. They told me about losing kittens thru aspiration when trying to bottle feed. That is when the reality strikes....the kittens are super cute and so much fun to have around but it is just so devastating when they don't make it. SV breeders are not in it for the love of $, it is for the love of cats!

It's tragic that the kittens contracted panleukopenia that way :-( Definitely it is a virus that can devastate a cattery and requires thorough disinfection procedures. I once had a tragic experience with this via a visiting stud (which caused a revision of my practice of using an outside stud!)...
