I think we will get along very well. It will be several weeks before he is old enough to come home. But, He is gonna fit right in. I felt his energy and it is compatible.

I have just been cleaning out the spare bedroom for his quarantine room. Kilifi is thrilled. She has not been in that room before. It was the room where my wife lived the last weeks of her life. Has not been used since. Needs some massive cleaning. A little at a time. 'Specially since I am an old man and hate doing house cleaning. LOL

That must be very difficult for you Cary. Maybe a good thing that the room will be used again especially for something as wonderful as your new boy. I am guessing that your wife shared your passion for cats and would probably approve of you getting that room spring cleaned before he moves in!!

She taught me to love kitties. I liked animals before we were together, But the passion and love for cats came from her. In our 35 yrs together, we only were without a cat or cats for about 2 yrs. So yeah, she would approve.

She was. I miss her. But after 11 yrs, I am over the pain. My kitties are my focus and I feel her Spirit loving them too. She never knew of Savannahs, but she would have loved them. She, like me, loved Cheetahs. She would have seen the similarity.

My life revolves around my cats too and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the similarities of the Cheetah in the Savannah - I wasn't really expecting to see them! Kitoko's tear marks and her pronounced shoulder blades. Nothing like my domestic cats but I love them all. I hope I will be able to get Kitoko to settle down okay. She had another peeing incident this morning after 10 days of just using her trays. So frustrating I so want to understand what I need to do. Back to Kristen I think - or the cat coach!!

I have been so so busy with the start of the semester and still adjusting in the new house and looking for a new job (and getting one!) that I almost missed all of this! I am SO EXCITED for you Cary!! Kizzi is so precious and you too looked so sweet together! I saw Patti's post about him initially then I guess stopped watching this thread somehow? So glad I went through and read it all! Hopefully he brings the girls together or at least to tolerance! CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS!!! (can you tell I'm excited? lol)
