I usually soak the duck foot in warm water for a few minutes to soften before giving it to Rafiki. I had the foot soaking and I unpacked a fresh package of 10 oz freeze dried chicken breast. I removed the sealed pouch from the box and placed it on the counter. As I focused my attention back on the duck foot, Rafreaky jumped on the counter, grabbed the bag and made a run for it. Fortunately the bag was awkward to carry so I caught up with her after 1 flight of stairs. But now the bag has ventilation holes. Sigh. How the heck did she know what was in there?!

I am SO happy to hear Rafiki's bloodwork revealed she is on the normal spectrum! Yay!!!!
You should be able to double seal it in a couple of plastic bags and keep if fresh. I always keep mine in the fridge - you might want to do the same with this batch.
