flea control?

I use Revolution on my F3 but I make sure that I don't let him walk in the grass because of the ticks in the wooded area here where I live. They usually fall from the trees and can crawl on him too and carry them in the house. It's also good for heartworm disease, hookworms, roundworms, and ear mites.

Is that the same brand as the flea collars? I would be careful with a store bought treatment...I know with the flea collars quite often they don't work and they damage the animal's skin and fur.

not sure to be honest, but it very well could be. you make a good point, i guess i should go over to the vet and get the flea control they can give me. will most likely be better then the store bought stuff around me

Its quite pricey at the vet, but from what I've seen it is worth it

You can get Revolution from the vet...they have a bunch of different types. My vet is promoting Advantage Multi, and since I work there I get it free, so thats what my cats are getting.

ahh excellent, thanks for the info Kristin. i will talk to the vet, i havent given atlas the store bought stuff i had yet. i needed food so i just grabbed it while i was there without research/asking about it

so i just called my vet, they carry both advantage multi and revolution. i guess because they can take care of more then just flea's they are more expensive. the zodiac stuff i bought was 15 bucks for 4 months supply. the revolution/advantage mutli are both around 100 bucks for 6 months supply. he is 10lbs now, so he is about ready for the next level of dosage i guess

I get my Revolution from the vet....buy 6 doses..get 2 free. It is still expensive tho!

I use advantage multi it is the only thing that works for me. I pay 12 a dose for it from my vet.
