Future F1 kitten

The Serval has four F1s to chose from and if for some reason he refuses all four, then my breeder has other options to fill our contract with an F1. No worries, thanks for your comment.

(Was originally in line for an F2 but going with the F1 instead)

Has your breeder bred F1's before? IF so, he/she would know whether the servals will breed with any of the F1's...just curious as F1 breeding is not easy and only a select few have seemed to pull it off.

There's not too many people that have pulled off 75% F1s, are there any other cats being grown up with the Serval kitten for him to choose? I agree with the other cautions about the wait being potentially longer or even not working at all. Not all Servals in F1 programs end up EVER producing a Savannah kitten.

I hope you didn't put down a large deposit, that would tend to annoy many people if they've deposited thousands and are still waiting years later... Me, I don't take deposits on unborn litters, I'm superstitious and think it jinxes things, LOL!

me and my friend tried to breed 75% f1's but the f1 savannah female was just to aggressive for the serval. he would try to breed her but she wouldn't accept him. Lets hope your breeders f1's are different. 75% f1's are HARD to breed.

Yes they are familiar with breeding, they are successful breeders. I have no doubt an F1 will be created. This is such an exciting time.

There would have to be some success out there, or F1s wouldn't exist at all

I'm not ready for my kitten right away. I have an older cat that is 19 years old and he can barely handle Mystique's energy. So it would be best for me to wait till he gets to cat heaven before I bring another energetic Savannah into our home. I am fine with a long wait.

Whether it be a future F1 from this Serval daddy or another. My contract will be fulfilled. Don't worry I am a business woman and can negotiate well.

Thanks for everyone's concern. Some say I was born with a golden horse shoe up my arse. Wink!

I wouldn't hold your breath for a kitten from him but if you don't mind holding your breath- you have about a 10% chance he will breed anything. I is worth the fun and photos however!
