Getting a foster baby tonight

What kind of lump? Is it movable or does it seem to be attached to the underlying bone or muscle? Is it hard or soft? Does it seem to hurt him when you manipulate it? Where exactly is it located?

Glad to hear that he is using the litterbox, way to go little Thor!

It isn't really moving, but it is soft. It doesn't seem to be attached to the bone or muscle, but I could be mistaken. It boggles my mind because it wasn't there on Wednesday, and I noticed it Thursday morning. It seems to cause him some discomfort when I prod at it, but other than that he doesn't notice. It is located on his right side, right behind his front leg. I wonder if it might be an abscess, as he was in a room with a mama and her 1 day old kittens for the day on Wednesday. We were trying to see if he would nurse off of her, but it didn't take. He wasn't watched the whole time he was in there....

He is becoming quite the scamp now though. He is trying to copy Zeddie, but she won't have anything to do with him.

I bought chicken and broth baby food (it was the only option) but he doesn't seem to be interested yet. The developments on him from day-to-day are amazing! You guys must just sit and watch your kittens grow :p

I think I have found his furrever home already as well...assuming his lump isn't a big deal. Otherwise, maybe they will be able to take it off when he is neutered?

Awww. Poor little guy. But it sounds like it is not affecting his learning abilities. Trying to copy Zeddie...cute. She does not yet have the mommy instinct, so he is a little nusance to her. ( like my grandkids are to me...LOL )
At least he is wanted by someone.
You are doing good Kristin. :)

Zeddie is learning to tolerate him :big grin::big grin:

If she gets on board, we will be the best foster duo ever haha

LOL Zeddie is wearing her Ewwwwww face. Poor little kitten needs someone to teach him how to be a proper kitty even if she is a spoiled member of a Russian royal family.

Right?! That is what I keep telling her. The nicer she is to Thor, the sooner he will go to his furrever home! But....this is a HUGE step for her. This is the closest she has ever been to another cat since living with me. I'm quite proud of my snotty princess

She may need some counseling now that she is on the verge of discovering that she is a member of the Felidae rather than Homo Sapiens. At least now she'll understand you're absence of fur.:roflmao:

Oh yeah, poor Zeddie is so hard done by. I blame Tiger for her emotional stunted growth in kitty love. Since Thor has proved easy enough to get adopted, I will continue taking in orphans this kitten season...hopefully she will help me out....doubtful

I would just watch the lump, if it gets bigger you may want it checked out by a vet. If it is an abscess it may need antibiotics. Hopefully it is nothing and will go away on its own.
