Oke i'm off to work now.

I'm going to read the article when i'm back and contact my vet.

I'm in no hurry to put the other cat here.
She lives in the far end of my garden and she ain't going anywhere.
I just want to know all the things i will keep in mind that i have to do first on medical aspect.

Paige or somebody else

Are you 100% sure about the doxycycline ?
The vet tells me she only heard of using it on birds.

If i'm really sure about it she can gets order it for the next day.

There is an age below which it is not recommended... although according to my Saunders Handbook of Veterinary Drugs, this may only be for humans where it can cause renal tubular necrosis at high doses and can affect bone and teeth formation in young animals. It does talk about the esophageal irritation issue.

If not doxy, then look for other antibiotics that may help. I looked in my "The 5-Minute Veterinary Consult" and it says Erythromycin (as drug of choice), tylosin (says may be effective), neomycin, penicillins(but notes that is potentially ineffective).

Looks familiar, yes? LOL!

What do you mean paige ?

Because it was mentioned before ?

The new vet asked me to bring themba in for check up.
The old vet also sended me an email that they are going to ask an specialist in intern medicine.

I feel a bit not comfortable that 2 vets are working on the same thing.
I still need to be by my old vet next week, Bliss had a wound stapled and the vet need to get it out.
They say it was free (included in the bill i already paid the first time) so i better go back.
