Glad you are having fun... I adore Amsterdam but have only been to Brussels in Belgium...where I remember some of the stupidest intersections I've ever seen...it's like they had too many of those fabulous Belgian beers before they finished up their road project ;-)

I love Belgian beer, especially the Tripels. Unfortunately there are too many good ones and I have never got to sample enough as I ended up in the bag far in front of having covered all that I wanted to. Also a big fan of the open air fermented Sours, but they definitely need paired with food and who wants to eat when there is so much good drinking to do.
Not a big chocolate fan, but to those who are they have proclaimed the Belgian chocolate I returned with was simply the best they had ever had. The minx certainly agrees and she has a qualified palate.
Hope you have great fun abroad and I definitely need some beer pictures so I am inspired to take a trip down the single bottle import isle at the beverage store. They definitely miss my wallet in the summer when I'm drinking lighter beer, although I make up for it in Tequila purchases. Ooh, did I just say Tequila when talking about Belgian Beer, that quashed any desire to start my day cracking one.

Sooo why did not sumbuddy member to tell me that belgium beeer is higher alcoholic content. I had 2 with dinner, sixsh pershent alcoholic.

I what is going to write this piece in Elizabethan English just to annoy the crap out of all of you but had a change of heart. Today we saw works by Picasso Miro, Magritte, & Matisse.
Yesterday we traveled to Gent where they were having the equivalent of a city-wide Oktoberfest. 10 days of beer bloated tourists and belgians staggering through the streets enjoying food music and art.
We toured all the major museums and saw delicious works of art most notably one of my favorites, Rembrandt.
