Health guarantees on a kitten

They produce F2s, they don't need a Serval to do that! You only need a Serval to produce F1s.

I thought you said you wanted an F2 female? Highly unlikely to be a large cat, mostly the large F2s are male and even then there are some pretty average sized F2 boys out there... so no guarantees when you are shopping for size!

Yes female but another make wouldn't be a bad thing? Females have the looks and males have the size. Do they grow till three yrs old ?

Wow
I am learning too much And too late for Romeo !
There may be a lot HCM in SV then we realize ...?!?
So my baby was supposed to be 32% serval equivalent to F2 + but he is more F4 with lol of Bengal
Is the Bengal or F generation make him not able to compete in TICA ?

Your baby is B-registered, because his grandmother is a Bengal. Savannahs need to be SBT registered to be eligible for Championship competition... The earliest generation we can reach SBT is F4 but not all F4s are SBT...

I personally think it fairer to consider your boy F2... his mom (like my Katie) looks and acts like an F1 not an F3... I always found this misleading when I had Katie as a breeding cat. I would have liked to just reregister her as F1 and go from there.

Lol I go thru 20 lbs of raw every three weeks for both my cats my sv and Abby . So my f2 prob eat his own 20 lbs lol. Expensive but worth it

But those spots will still be something special! Why can't you take your boy with you? Zeddie is about 10 lbs and she has been going everywhere with me since....6 months? I think she was 6 months during her first trip to Ottawa. Looks we will be going to Nova Scotia this summer and I've gotten the okay to bring her with :big grin:

I think two neutered males would get along just fine.

Savannahs can grow for more than a year, not all will. Most of the growth is still in the first year but I've seen cats grow another couple of inches past then and they also tend to add more body mass after the first year...

Tell me if true.... Sv grow mostly muscle by three year and weight and height first two years.

I don't think I could say that is true...if they add more muscle in the third year then how would the weight be finished by 2 years of age? Or am I not understanding your post properly?

Halestone Savannahs produce F2s down LA way and I can happily recommend them :)

I think you can see some inflated prices on some flashy websites...and I think they rely on people assuming their cats must be better because they are more expensive. Why else would people pay twice as much for the equivalent thing?

You should expect most Savannahs, even F2s to be SV to SV...I don't think there are many producing outcrossed F2s anymore...
Looks like they get their breeding cats from A1? Disappointed
