I have emailed Martin to please read my latest posts. I also asked another couple questions about the misplaced cat. Hopefully this can all be sorted out.

Ice is the kitten that made me decide to go ahead and jump into becoming a Savannah owner.

Is that the cat in your avatar?

Wow, what a story! I hope it all works out to your satisfaction in the end. I feel sorry for those poor little babies that have to be shipped back.

Depending on how things go I may not ship them back. They've been through a long stressful day and it would be terrible for them to undergo that again so soon.

I can confirm now that Martin did send Abby. She matches the pictures. I was under the impression she was bigger, but that isn't a problem.

Here's a point in A1's favor. They're doing something right when it comes to how friendly these cats are.

I just had to pry myself out from under the two of them to get back to paying attention to Paz, my inquisitive orange tabby that is very aware there are two unfamiliar cats in the house. (The good thing with him is that having been born and raised in a shelter, he easily takes well to other cats.

Not to put fuel on the fire --haha-- I also initially investigated getting a cat from A1, and due to issues with a sales person, ended up unable to move forward. After that I didn't even want to consider them, despite the favorable reputation they appeared to have. At the end of the exchanges I felt abused, as they treated me extremely rudely.

So glad though because my Duma is incredible.

Well, I am tired and need to finish a few things before getting to bed. Thanks for the comments.

I'll check in again tomorrow or during the week, and I sincerely hope this can come to a happy conclusion.

Wow...well hope all works out in the end. Hard to believe really. In my case I'm glad I was able to speak to the breeder when I chose Amaury (my F1 male). On another front, I will say that some breeders just list kittens by their colors or maybe not much description and it can and could cause confusion for customers when requesting a kitten (I mean many are golden spotted, etc, etc). So a better way is stating like "kitten #1", "kitten #2" or "monster", "nice guy", "short legs" just some descriptive naming convention to the litter critters :) And of course if you choose your mr "monster", you hope you get your mr "monster" and not mr "short legs"! dj

Well- the breeders could start treating their kittens like unique individuals with unique souls- I mean, who would have thought of THAT? Versus just items on a shelf to be sold and restocked.

If you realize they are unique souls from the moment of birth- you wouldn't be likely to make the mistake of not knowing which kitten a person was interested in- particularly after they have already put their money down.

Just saying... (Preaching to the choir)

I find this to be a rather insulting statement Trish - I for one treat each and every kitten as a unique soul, and most if not all of the breeders I know do the same.
