I love it, B! What type of roofing did you put up? I am trying to talk my condo board (and I'm on the board) into letting us screen in our decks...I think I will propose it as an amendment to the bylaws for next spring...and then the cats can have the enclosure and the entire deck ;)

It's vinyl coated steel. I had the mesh from the friendly fencing that is a polymer, it's very strong but unfortunately the cats can actually chew through it if motivated...and eventually one worked that out. So welded steel was it... this was a combination of the strongest, durable, low visibility and not too heavy either... it looks good and feels really secure :)

Speaking as someone that runs Savannah Rescue (one of the two directors and founders) I cannot imagine breeding a rescue kitty.... but I think I understand what you are saying though. They aren't "rescues" but the owner didn't have room and you did and you were persuaded to take on a breeding program..
Exactly! I'm just a cat-lover who just happens to be in the "right place at the right time"... It's strange how life works out... (There's a LOT more to that story...)

Heh heh... It was certainly not a surprise by any means!!! I DO know enough about cats to figure that one out. ;) She did actually come to us, 5 months ago, pregnant. Her previous owner had not been aware of that and took her to get vaccinated, probably, within a week of her conceiving... It gets pretty morbid after that... BUT... Patience is often rewarded and I've never seen her so happy as she is now with her new babies!!! She's a freaking purr-monster!!!
