Just an update: We went down and spend an hour with Targa and Turbo last week! They are 6 weeks, and we still have a little bit go yet before we can bring them home! They are finally able to play, so that was fun! We are getting very excited about them! I will post pictures after June 23rd, once they are in our home!

Pictures coming very soon!! Can't wait to share!

Great news... I hope and pray that will be good healthy kittens and grown in to quite nice kitties.

How wonderful that you get to spend time with Targa and Turbo before they come home. It will make their transition into their new home easier. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Patti, they were born April 18, 2014. and we will be bringing them home on June 23rd, 2014. I believe that makes them about 9.5/10 weeks old by the time we get to bring them home. We may have been able to bring them home earlier (by one week) but it doesn't work out with the scheduling, and thought it would be better to leave them with the breeder until our schedules clear up a week later.

We have met them twice this far and it really helps us feel more secure with the purchase of them both. We are already calling them Targa and Turbo, as is our breeder, which I think will really help the process too. - Our breeder is absolutely amazing! But I do not have her permission to advertise her on this site, so I will refrain from telling anyone who/where*sorry!

They are currently 2.5 hours away, and we will bring them home. We will have a carrier for them to be able to sit in together, or perhaps on which ever one isn't driving's lap. Any suggestions on which one would be better? Would they be more comfortable on our laps or is it better to keep them in their carrier. If sitting in the passengers lap, they would not be able to come to the drivers side at all! They would be secure in passengers side only. Please do not comment on how dangerous it is to have them in drivers seat! We appreciate your concerns in advance, and we would never jeopardize anyone's safety! (sorry if this sounds snarky or rude! - not my intention! I respect everyone on this site, and just want to make sure everyone knows that I do understand the dangers of having them near the drivers side!)


So in carrier or on lap? We really want to make it an easy 2.5 hours for them! If you can, let me know what you all are thinking? THANKS! :)

bxrpwr, Traveling with Elsa, and hour in the carrier is all she will tolerate. I let her out to roam the car and she finds a good comfortable spot in the back and watches out the window while relaxing... Excellent traveler in the car, but bad in the carrier.

Hi John! Because they will be only 9 weeks old, I am a little worried at Turbo and Targa will find discomfort in the travelling, especially over 2.5 hours. Was thinking maybe start them in the carrier, and bring them to the passenger if they become increasingly unhappy!

9 weeks is pretty young to go home and I do not suggest ever letting a cat roam free in a car...I was in a car accident with one of my kittens on the way to my vet and he would have been killed if he was not in a hard carrier...so putting in a carrier is best and will both keep them safe and make them feel safe

Welcome! Our Thor is the same F5 SBT, it will be fun to compare them! How old will they be once they arrive?
