Purely personal preference. Mine are bed hogs and I find myself clinging to the edge of the mattress. I've also learned how to change position by contorting myself in unimaginable ways so as not to disturb them -- because they start to grumble and complain, and the kitten thinks it's time to play.

You try to not disturb them too? I don't have the "Big kids disturb the kitten problem". I have the "little girl is awake and HAS to wash me then play" problem.

And for future reference, I am pretty thick skinned and prefer honesty so don't ever hesitate to be forthright with me. (There are others on here, who shall remain unidentified, who are very tender though, so beware:big grin:)

Most honest statement ever made... She takes a lot of crap from us, and gives it back to.... In fun of course....

Is there a debated way of which savannahs should sleep? In bed, or off the bed?
..... Like you have a choice in the matter?...
Keep reading the forums. The sooner you accept you are in for the ride and not them............;)

I'm sure they would do it even if we told them not to! Good thing we have a king size bed!

The first thing to learn about owning a Savannah is: You do not own a Savannah, Savannah's own us. Everyone thinks slavery is illegal... Savannahs don't study law and they know we are their slaves.
The sooner you realize that you are a servant and not a Savannah owner you will much better understand Savannah's

Hahaha, I've gathered the general impression that I will NOT own them, but they WILL own me. And my Significant Other! and our house, and and and...

To sort of put it in a form of mathematics so to speak, your "Significant Other!" will become the "Least Significant Other!" and the Savannah will become the "Most Significant Other!"

My belief is the cats should sleep where they please :)

If you cannot sleep with them on the bed with you, then you will need to train them to be shut out of your bedroom at night... it's likely they will not be happy with that at all, but I know some people that prefer it that way. Me, I don't sleep well if there isn't at least one cat snuggled up with me (rarely a problem here, only when traveling without one).
