If I have the old kennel, I will use that. That way Kilifi will not feel as "tied down." I Hope...! Maybe If I find it she can play in it to get comfy.

2 things.
First. When I got home today, I went in and got down on my knees and asked Azidi how was her day. She did something she has not done here yet. She meowed as if to say" OK". Shocked me. First sound I have heard her make except when she and Kiki had their little confrontation.
Second. I found the kennel we have. it is a big one 30 in long, 24 in high, 21 in wide. with a nice tray bottom and a sheepskin tray cover. It is opened up and Kilifi is investigating.

It just gets better and better. I was just in playing with Zidi, and so I chanced a furtive pet. She did not pull away or run. I played some more and tried again. She let me run my hand from the neck to the end of her tail. And did NOT run. She then hopped up on the bed chasing the wand toy and so I just started talking to her and began to pet her. She came back for more. and more and more. Must have stroked her back and tail 10 times. She was coming towards me for more. Like a hungry cat for food. And then Kilifi started crying. So I went out to her. jealous. BUT Azidi is MINE. I have won her over. I even touched her front feet and she did not run.

Naaa. I just REALLY love this little girl. She had a rough go of it in her kittenhood, so I want to make her happy now. No matter how much I have to wait.

Now she starts meowing when I leave the room. Like she is calling me back. Wanting to play and pet.
Also... Petting from top of head to tail tip. 2 handed. Only place a no no is her side ribs. And I'm getting head butts as is the bed and cabinet and the wall and.....
So Patti...am I doin ok?

Awesomacious! Now all you have to do is convince Kilifi and Azidi that they can be friends
