Britt, I already have 2 Savannah girls. Kilifi, an 18 month old F5 SBT and Azidi a 3 yr old F3C. They are not yet buddies, but I am working on it. I am hoping the F2 male, Regulus, (Regie) will help them bond. he is 11 weeks old now.

All righty then. A little update on Miss Azidi.
The last 2 nights, I have put Kiki in a room by herself and opened the door to Zidi's room. I stand in the door and talk to Zidi and tell her it's ok to come out because Kiki is in the bedroom. Zidi will meow at me and finally walk towards the door. I then go out in the family room and watch her on the video cam. She will walk around her room and after a few minutes she will look out the door and stand there watching. Then she walks out. The first night she walked around the hallway a bit, then back in her room and then out to the living room. She was out there for about 10 minutes. She ran back in her room when I walked into the kitchen. (She heard me walking)
Last night, she did the same routine, looked and walked into the hall, but then she walked into the room I am gonna use for Regie. She was in there quite a while...maybe 30 min...before she walked back into her room. I could not see, but I think she was smelling the scents of Kiki, Regie and Jasi. She was very at ease when I went in to talk to her after. Purring and calm. In both cases. I think she is getting her brave up. I think it is a good thing. What do my experts think? :)
That is fantastic, she has really made progress! I am so glad to hear that she is becoming more comfortable outside of her room. Pretty soon she'll be sauntering out into the living room and sitting on your lap!!!

Well, sauntering out maybe. I will be quite surprised if she really ever sits on my lap. I can't get Kiki to do that. LOL

Now I have to do research. I have been drinking an Ensure nutrition drink the last few nights. Chocolate flavored. Kilifi wants it BAD. She is very willing to fight me for it. Have to find out if it has real chocolate in it. MAybe I can let her have some IF NO CHOCOLATE.

Last night was band practice with my no name band, so I left the house at 5 pm and did not make it back home til 9 pm. Since my wake up time for work is 3:30 am, I fed the girls and went straight to bed.
This morning, I was shunned by both of them. They were not shy about thinking LOUDLY that I had let them down by leaving them alone last night and not giving them their usual 3 hours of play. Methinks my little loves are a tad bit spoiled. But then I remember that any departure from a cat's routine is upsetting to them. And that is all cats, not just SVs. I suppose it is how they keep track of their lives and if things are in order. I am still learning how cats are programmed to work in life. I am sure I will be required to make it up tonight.... IF they are still talking to me. ;)
