Hello from Canada!

Cats can do no wrong <3
I just bought some tickets to a cat show in April! It's held during a big pet expo, they're going to be such a wide range of stuff going on and I know it's going to be a fun day! :big grin:

Where is it located? You said you were from Ontario? I have been searching for one in my area!

That is where I have been looking, but the closest location is in Quebec. I guess I could do the long train ride in the summer. It would be worth it.

I was hoping for Toronto. You'd think that would be a big location as most conventions are held there. But dreamy mountain range and nicer weather BC wins again.

It's going to be held at the International Center in Toronto on April the 3,4, and 5th. I have't chosen which day to go yet. It's a weird weekend because it's also Easter weekend!

You can find out more about it here : http://www.canadianpetexpo.ca/

I don't think it's a TICA cat show, I looked on their websites and all their shows were too far away for me too. I found out about this show through the breeder I'm looking at. I'm hoping to meet her and a few of her cats while I'm there!

This was such a good read! Thanks for posting it. I wish I could bring my siblings, but the stroller is this massive beast, and they'd probably find it hard to remember not to touch.

There is a cat show coming up in April in the International Center in Toronto.

Here's a link for some more information: http://www.canadianpetexpo.ca/cat-show/

This is the one I'm hoping to attend. There's a smaller one in March in Hamilton, but I don't think I can make it to that one.

As for gender, I think I want a girl. My family has always had boy cats so I wanted to change it up. Does gender make a big difference personality wise?

I'm super late to this thread, and didn't read all the replies...I'm from Ontario as well..Hamilton area. My girl Zeddie is from Christine and I have nothing but good things to say about her. Zeddie is my best friend and came home extremely well socialized. Christine has always answered questions that I've had. Zeddie is incredibly sweet, but she stubborn and bossy. Jimmy, my male, is much more laid back and easy going, although he has taught Zeddie some naughty things

The cat show in Hamilton is kinda crap, no Savannahs there. They do have some really great cat toys though that are cheap. Too bad I'm away this year...Zeddie will not be happy that she won't get 5 new 'indestructible' toys.

My cats have never destroyed toys, I just throw them out when I think they are 'old'. My dog on the other hand... I never realized my passion for cats could be shared with a community so I absolutely adore this forum, and am determined to check out a few cat shows -no matter the distance.

I'm from Cambridge which is really close to both Hamilton and Toronto (less than an hour). I just gave up on Exotic Tails because there was never an answer and I found other breeders I liked more (who seemed more attentive).

Whiskyness, I have only ever had girls! So I am very excited for my first boy, I hear they are much more easy going in general. I am hoping to get my prince sometime this summer! Already buying toys and etc. I cannot wait for my first Savannah baby.

Kristin, sounds like you have two stinker fur babies! Is Jimmy still very playful even though he is laid back? I will search for some pictures. Unless you want to post more.. :D

Christine can take awhile to respond, but she has really great cats and is an amazing breeder. Isn't Hilltop Pride in Cambridge?

Jimmy is extremely active...more active than Zeddie. She is more dominant and stubborn. He will let me pick him up and squeeze him, but he loves to run and play. He loves to snuggle in his down time and tries to groom me. He actually made Zeddie naughtier because he is so darn naughty!

I have some pictures of him around the forum but I can upload some of him here as well
