Hello Savvy Lovers; from NorCal :)

Thanks Jacq! :) Dawn seems to be the one introducing the Snows to a lot of people, that is great. That is a wonderful idea, just cutting off the hook. That is pretty much what I do first before I tie my fly toys. I snip the hook to the top of the bend, file it down a bit if it's sharp, then I wrap the whole hook with a small layer of electrical tape so that other than the eye of the hook, there is no metal showing or to chew on. Then I just tie the fly over the electrical tape and it seems to be working very well. We shall see how they hold up once I can put them to the test. ;) hehe.

If you'll notice my avatar is my F3 snow boy, Chuju. Dawn had just sold the one I wanted, so I got him from Richard at Crystal Hills. He will be 7 on Friday.

:) Let get these Snows some attention! Hehe. Happy almost 7th Bday to Chuju! I am going to have to mark my boy's Bday down in my phone so I get a reminder when he turns 1 this year. Have you had him the full 7 years now Jacq?

Oh yeah. I have 2 F2s as well (not snows) and Chuju is the problem child of the group. He's the one that gets into all the trouble in the household. Maybe it's a snow thing...;)

Nice, I can definitely see a bit of "mischievous" in the pics of my boy. LOL! We shall see if your theory is correct. I was walking past my wife's spice rack on the counter last night and made a mental note to see how long it takes him to bat those down. Haha! We shall see how safe the toilet paper is too. ;)

I've done the same thing, Jacqui, I just searched until I found the exact mousie lure and froggy lure that my cats go wild over and it's perfect!

Well, I just ordered the essentials on Amazon for before he gets here on Friday. :) Litter box with a large mat, food and water bowl with a large plastic mat for under them (Dawn tells me he likes to stand in his food while eating, LOL! I told her he's holding his prey down), a retractable leash, and a Puppia small walking harness (hope it fits him for now).
