Unfortunately the Savannahs would have to be F4 or later generation to show so you would not be able to show your guy, but if you go to a cat show (there are a few in Sacramento) you should see Savannahs there, and maybe a snow in the New Traits ring...

Oh yeah, I forgot about that too. Well see, that's why I was/am content with not showing. :) LOL! But yes, I'm sure I will have to drag my wife along to one so we can go see other beautiful kittoes. Hehe

Welcome, Paul! Your snow boy is gorgeous and I like the fishing fly idea...funny how our Savannahs make us improvise ;)

We love reading and talking about snows here...I think that what happens is there are just too many yahoo groups, FB groups, etc., and people get overwhelmed and burned out...

Well, luck is against me once again. He went to the vet today to have his check up before being shipped tomorrow and the vet diagnosed him with having a stage 2 bi-lateral heart murmur. :( I do not have the $500-1000 to have him fully tested to see how bad it truly is and how it would affect his life, so I have had to make the hard decision to not take him and be refunded my money. This is the hardest thing I have had to do in quite a while as I feel as though I am already emotionally attached to him even though I have never met him. I went though all the steps to make everything wonderful for him and now it is not to be.

I just talked to the breeder and she is going to send me a full refund in the mail. If anyone knows of a nice F3 Male in the $2000 or less range (As I'm sure I will never come across another F2 at that price), please let me know as i will be starting my search once again. Thank you.

New turn of events! We are getting our Snow Boy! :) Dawn has made us a wonderful offer to give him a loving home to live in for his lifetime. We are going to take him and if our vet confirms his murmur, Dawn is refunding us the 1600 so we will only be paying for shipping. That way he can live a happy life with us and we can give him all the attention he truly needs. :) I look forward to taking pictures later tonight to share!

I brought him home around 6 after work today :) He looked so beautiful in the crate, but when I got home he is stunning! I let him walk around for a bit by himself then he came right up to me and gave me a little rub. I sat on the floor for a while and we played with his fly toys (he absolutely loves them!) As long as they are moving, he will chase them. Haha. It too a while for him to want to jump, but I eventually got him going a bit. Just in litter bursts. He seems to be getting used to his room already. Batted at his water bowl for a bit. He gave me my first headbutt as I was laying on the floor playing with him :) He took to my wife pretty fast too. Once he was tired of playing, he laid next to her on the bed. He such a great kitty and we are soooo happy to have him in our home now!
