OMG - beautiful pictures!!!

Thank you Paige. :) Sorte is doing OK so far. I got the results back for his full diarrhea panel and he was negative for everything except what the tech called a "nothing" virus that will jusr run its course quickly. She said it was nothing to worry about. So no Tri Trich which is great to know. I have been giving him a new food in the last couple weeks because I needed to find something that he liked better than the stupid Iams. I have weened him onto Call of the Wild Venison and Smoked Salmon for the moment, although once his vet gets back from vacation we may need to do an allergy test for him. He has been scratching his cheek and neck lately and he has some bumps on his neck that seem to be scabs from scratching. I have looked for signs of fleas, but have seen nothing, so I think it might be the food which sucks because he loves the new food and will eat it without mixing it with anything. :( I think it might be the fish because I tried mixing small amounts of different wet foods originally and when I gave him anything that had fish, he had stinky farts and more runny stools than normal. Now I just mix his food with a chicken and duck wet food every now and then. He still has soft stool as of now, but not watery diarrhea and I think it may be because of the salmon in the new food. Other than that though, he is super energetic and loving.

The vet has him started on a dose of Panacur paste until she is back and we can work on finding any allergies.

Great news, Paul! Do you give him Revolution just in case it may be fleas?

Sounds like you are doing everything you can for Sorte and I'm sure everything will get sorted out (pardon the pun) ;)

Hahaha! Good one Paige. ;) No, I have not started him on Revolution yet. I figured the vet would have me start that once I tell her about the itching and bumps though just in case.

He really is. :) That's is what I call his "jumping wand". LOL! That's the only way he will play with it. He could care less if I'm dragging it on the ground, but if I get him to stalk it a bit then swing it overhead, his acrobatics come out. :)

Haha! yes same with Keljin. He could care less if I am dragging it. I have to flick it around in the air and imitate "da bird" toy to get him to jump and do flips for it. When he catches it out of the air, he plops down and starts rolling on the ground until the whole entire feather is twirled and tangled around his entire body!

Then I pet him and tell him "good boy" for catching his "prey" as he looks up at me from the ground all tangled up, and he starts purring cuz he is soooo proud <3
