Hey, it's MY mental image, and it would be too pedestrian with a beer and wine is just soooo overdone. It has to be scotch, vodka, whiskey or the like or it doesn't work for me. You are free to have any fantasies you want about JP just don't muck around with mine.I didn't say he doesn't drink, just not scotch. I drink scotch. He has other preferences. Usually doesn't require aspirin later.

Oh suuuuure, try to divert attention from your unsubstantiated claim of continence by besmirching my sobriety. Look at how many multisyllabic words I've used...can't be impaired and be a wizard of vocabulary. (I'll patiently wait while you run to the dictionary and look up the big words.)

I'm not the one slurring the typing!
soooo...if i sit on the couch (my usual spot) my kitten is ALL OVER ME and i cant eat without practically holding the plate above my head. And sitting at the table he just keeps jumping all over me and into my lap
It definitely can be hard with some kittens and it can depend on their upbringing. I remember bringing Nina (62.5% F1) home and she obviously had shared her human's food all the time (which I confirmed after talking with her breeder).... she just thought she had every right to inspect my plate and take what she wanted. It really took persistence to get her to realize what the others here know, we don't feed from our plates. We got a beagle at the same time as we got our first Savannah and so being strict and consistent and firm was really important with the beagle.
Some are definitely more persistent than others... and it can feel like you are not winning. Be sure to be really firm with your voice, Give a "no" after their name and put him on the ground... don't laugh while you are removing him...they know when you are laughing that it's not serious and so think it is just a game. And yes, you might have to scruff and remove the kitten 50 times in a row...and do that for every meal for a while. Eventually they will learn.
I'm not saying I have perfectly trained Savannahs, nobody does... but they do understand there are some rules... they are very smart and are good at pushing boundaries though!
