Sol, I'm so happy you found Alpha and wishing him well in his recovery. What a traumatic experience for him and glad he didn't get further injured by the dogs. Both of my boys have an unhealthy lack of fear and common sense when it comes to dogs, so I am glad Alpha has a positive outlook.

Thoughts and prayers Sol and Alpha!

OMG, poor Alpha, poor you!!! Hopefully he will be on the road to recovery from his first surgery by the time they tackle the jaw surgery!

Alpha had his jaw operated monday afternoon and yesterday he has eaten again by himself. He seems well. Now I'm away for 10 days but everyday I ask news to the Vet. Hope that he will continue improving and will recover soon. I'll keep you updated

I second what Moggiesnewmom said. Please keep Alpha safe and happy and healthy! He must miss you while you are away! Is anyone with him?

Very glad that Alpha can now recover, unfortunate that you have to be away now. Do you have a friend that Alpha knows that might be able to visit him in the vet hospital? I was away once when one of my SVs was deathly ill and my friend visited her daily which I was so very thankful for. I was getting updates daily from the specialist vet but it made me feel better that she saw a familiar face..

There is a guy in the hospital that loves Alpha almost like me and he is with him the whole day He feeds him with his hands He pets him on the head and he cares about him in a really lovely way not only because is his job...Alpha trusts in me and also in him although He still growls and hisses every time that me or anyone gets near to him and He never stops growling like it is his way to communicate. He never never purrs but now He let me pet him and when I put the finger in his mouth He never bites me. I am sure that this guy is a friendly figure for Alpha...

Very glad to hear that Alpha is on the road to recovery. What a shame that you have to be away for so long but at least you know he is in good hands. Once you return you will need to think hard about how to make your home escape proof, and/or invest in a GPS system for Alpha (if you have anything left in the bank after your vet costs!)
