Alpha's looking pretty good! So glad he is doing well and is home.

I'm very glad to hear that Alpha is back home, and hope he settles back into a familiar routine. The collar may be part of what's keeping him anxious, I'm sure once that's off he'll feel more comfortable.

Alpha is absolutely gorgeous. I think that he will settle down soon now that he is safely at home. Removal of the collar will definitely help! How much longer do they think he will need it?

Ho everybody I'm back from a terrible battle with Alpha! It's more than a Week that he's back home and his leg is improving but it needs other time to heal and we are still going for medication to the vet one day yes and one day no. Until saturday Alpha wore the cone day and night and He was very sad not running not playing only lying in his bed or over his pillow. As I can't see him in that way anymore I decided to leave non without the cone and immediately He started to play run jump and everything. From saturday until today...I thought that he understood or at least collected the fact that I took away the cone but He doesn'have to touch his leg and unyil today He didn't open it so yesterday when we went to the vet the leg was better than previous time. I was so happy to see that he didn'touch the leg! But today He broke the bandage and the risk is that he will bite again his own leg with all the consequences that this take to...so I got very angry with him and I put the cone back but we had terrible fighting and I Think that I terrified him I also beated him because He bited me and attacked me with his paws...But there was no other way to repair the situation!I'm so sorry to see him again with the cone but why He doesn't associate that if He licks and bites his leg I have to put back the cone? He is selfdistructive! Maybe the bandage this time was weaker than the previous one but anyway it is a good bandage! I didn't know what to do I want to close the bandage by myself and took away the cone again or maybe it's better leave the cone on until tomorrow that we are going back to the vet. Now He hates me and He is very frightened of me...
What should I do? Have you had similar experiences? From what I read on this forum your cats are very different from Alpha !
