Simba is coming home THIS FRIDAY! I can not wait. The breeder said he is soo active, he will sit on your lap then when you stand up climb up on you all over your clothes. Boy am I in for a ride...

I have set up his kitten room, my big walk- in closet and he'll hang out in my bedroom with me while I'm home.

The only thing left really is getting a cat tree! I have been asking my bf to help me build one but he has been so busy... hopefully we will finally have something this weekend so he's got something to climb on.

Can't wait!

I know your excitement! i went through it each time with my bengals all coming to age, and then my savannahs, i had to wait until tegra was old enough until i picked up her and Azul. Now i am waiting for my newest arrival. I literally have waited about a year and a half for him. Once he was born i was even more antsy. Each day i am even more antsy, it brings me back to the last 8-10 weeks of my pregnancy! haha

What would be a good flea prevention? I use Advantage on my other cat, but I use it really rarely since she is an indoor cat and never really seems to get fleas (knocks on wood). But my new sv (coming next week) is going to be indoor but go on walks with me via harness/leash, so I want him to be protected. Also, Advantage is used based on weight for my full grown cat, what about applying it to kittens? I guess I could just read the directions lol but does anyone here use it?

I've used either Advantage or Revolution on my cats, Advantage is fine, they make a kitten sized vial for under a certain weight (can't remember offhand).. you can always divide the adult dose if you are confident in your abilities to do so...it's the same concentration just less of it for the smaller cat/kitten...
