Should I be concerned? I just noticed all the photos of my kitty updates that I've been receiving are time stamped from February 2013. The fur patterns are all the same as I can see the same spots and markings. Am I being paranoid or should I legitimately be concerned?

I wouldn't worry too much, I think the date settings on Holly's camera are off. I think my updates were time stamped 2010 and that was January/February 2016 when I received them. I picked my boy out at only 8 days old so I received several updates from Holly and all were way off on the date stamps, but the pictures really were of my Shango.

My kitten's pictures started out showing November 7, 2010 and the last pics I received were December 21, 2010, but the dates I received the pics via email were December 29, 2015 to February 12, 2016. Sounds like Holly just doesn't bother with the date setting on her camera... which is odd considering the size of her cattery and how many updates/pics she must send out to people.

Congrats! Your fur baby is adorable :love:

I seem to recall several folks purchasing cats from SE having this issue but the cats were the ones pictured.

I guess as long as the dates progress following an appropriate time scheme (e.g., pics received 3 days later are time stamped Feb 24th) then it's probably just the camera. I would certainly point it out to her, and tell her you were concerned there was a scam going on - I would think she would be more conscientious than that...
