How to find Blue a better home.

I may have found him a new home, close to me. Maybe she'd let me visit:) She's coming to visit with Blue in a couple of weeks as she's in NS helping out her sister with Babysitting. Keep fingers crossed and it gives me a few more weeks with the Boy:)

It looks like he might have escaped from the house. We have been looking for him for the past few hours and nothing.

Anybody lose a savannah? We live in the Country so there are lots of woods around, I just hope he can find his way back. He is also very vocal and again I hope he would make a noise if he is lost. It's 2:30 now, please say a few prayers that I find him safe and sound.

Hi, you must be frantic. Is that 2.30 pm? I guess you have tried rattling food bags etc? He may be close by just overwhelmed by the big outdoors. Keep searching keep calling. I hope you find him and yes I'm sending prayers - I'd be searching with you if I was close by. Hopefully some of the others will have some experience of enticing home escaped sv's. Good luck and let us know when you have him home x

Even noisy cats when frightened by unfamiliar surroundings can become very quiet :-( He's not used to being outside so he likely is scared and is hiding in or under something. It can be surprising just what they can squeeze themselves into!

When looking at nighttime (like you are) use a flashlight to shine under houses, into gaps and under cars etc... the eyes will glow back at you.

I was just reading an article on finding a lost cat and they talked about doing "the bastard search" which apparently is known from searches for lost people as well as pets...that you will be out searching all night to come home and find the culprit has been home all that time. They highly recommend doing a very thorough search of the home before assuming a cat has gotten out, especially if you didn't see them escape. They mention holes in mattresses or walls, underbed storage and the like.

If you can be safe (you mention being in the country rather than in a town or city), you could potentially shut up all other pets and leave a door and windows open...

Hope he turns up soon!

FOUND HIM:))))

or I should say he found us. He was hiding/sleeping somewhere in the house, I'll have to track down where that is so I don't have to go through that again. Thanks for any prayers etc. I was really worried.
